Through artists such as Pablo Picasso, Isidre Nonell and Joan Miró this guided tour reveals how different individual and collective identities converged in the early decades of the 20th century. This circumstance is put to pupils via an analysis of works that feature the body and personality as objects of physical and symbolic study.
Women at the turn of the century or the figure of the Avant-garde artist projecting their personal concerns on their work, these are some of the identities reflected in the pieces that make up the visit. From this perspective, cultural volunteers from the Museo Reina Sofía will lay out a formal and conceptual exploration to groups of 8-10 year-olds and 10-12 year-olds in Primary Education in the form of a guided visit, to take place in the exhibition rooms of Collection 1.
